Amer Emami vs Saad Yousef

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Iran-Tehran promoted show at Yasin Sheikh Gym, Tehran,  taking place on 03/01/2026:

Clearly AI Iran-Tehran have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Amer Emami (2 - 0) who hails from Karaj, Iran and Saad Yousef(2 - 3 - 6) from Mashhad, Iran.  Both Emami and Yousef weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Amer Khar, and the three ringside judges are Haaris Sylla, Malik Ben and Obaid Sharifi.  

Round 1: 

Emami gets on the inside.  Emami pivots from in front of his opponent.  Yousef throws a right hook, but Emami ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Emami pushes his forearm into Yousef's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Emami about fouling.  
Yousef throws a left hook, but Emami clinches his opponent.  Emami is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Emami's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Emami attempts to land a right hook, but Yousef slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Emami connects with a left hook.  
Yousef switches the action to the outside.  Emami lands a solid jab.  
Emami lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Yousef is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Emami throws a jab, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Emami steps inside and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Emami lands with a stinging jab.

Emami quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Emami wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Yousef dabs at his face checking for damage.  Yousef has taken some damage there.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.  
Emami closes the distance and manouvers his opponent into a corner.  Emami hits home with a stinging right uppercut.  
Emami gets on the inside and lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Emami lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Emami lands a solid right uppercut.  
Emami lands a right hook, left hook and a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Emami lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a right uppercut to the body followed by two left hook's to the head.
