Chris Prentice vs Hisao Sakaguchi

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Chiba promoted show at Mitsui Garden Hotel, Chiba,  taking place on 04/01/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Chris Prentice (4(2) - 0) who hails from Waitakere, New Zealand and Hisao Sakaguchi(2 - 7 - 1) from Kawasaki, Japan.  Both Prentice and Sakaguchi weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Daiki Fujimura, and the three ringside judges are Yuichi Kaba, Michi Anzai and Hiro Ueno.
