David Eck vs Hayden Habe

Boxing Daily Report from the TFI promoted show at Gregor Agbee Gym, Takoradi,  taking place on 23/12/2025:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are David Eck (1 - 0) who hails from Takoradi, Ghana and Hayden Habe(3 - 2 - 3) from Accra, Ghana.  Eck weighed in at 160 pounds, while Habe weighed in at 159 pounds And 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Zain Karimi, and the three ringside judges are Inigo Adamafio, Wayne Bimi and Naeem Adusei.  

Round 1: 

Eck closes the distance.  Eck lands a left hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a left uppercut to the head.  
Eck lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Eck gets on the inside.  Habe sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Eck is on target with a left hook to Habe's ribs.

Eck steps inside.  As Eck tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Habe dabs at his face checking for damage.

Eck closes the distance and lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Eck advances into close range and digs in a right uppercut to Habe's ribcage.  
Habe pivots to the side of his opponent.  Eck lands a jab.

Eck advances into close range.  Habe pivots to the left of his opponent.  Habe throws a right hook, but Eck holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Eck pushes his forearm into Habe's face.  The referee warns Eck and breaks the clinch.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Habe's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Habe's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.

Eck throws a right hook, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Eck holds on to his opponent.  Eck is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.
