Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre, Gold Coast,  taking place on 27/12/2025:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are James Cowper (3 - 2 - 1) who hails from Brisbane, Australia and Dom Kenneson(5 - 3 - 3) from Melbourne, Australia.  Cowper weighed in at 118 pounds, while Kenneson weighed in at 117 pounds and 6 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Charlie Cacciari, and the three ringside judges are Hugh Durie, Leon Kellar and Ian Norris.  

Round 1: 

Kenneson walks Cowper down, trapping him on the ropes.  Kenneson is on target with a right hook.
