Jack Pottenger vs Peter Weir

Boxing Daily Report from the Ace Boxing promoted show at Opryland Delta Ballroom, Nashville,  taking place on 10/01/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the USA-Deep South Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jack Pottenger (16(1) - 1) who hails from Louisville, USA and Peter Weir(13 - 6(4)) from Hoover, USA.  Both Pottenger and Weir weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Robert Davidson, and the three ringside judges are John Cranston, Clint Blagg and Leighton Parry.
