Boxing Daily Report from the AI Kenya-Nakuru promoted show at Zach Masamba Gym, Naivasha,  taking place on 02/01/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Kenya-Nakuru Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Steven Yegon (8 - 0) who hails from Naivasha, Kenya and Lamech Ndururi(6 - 0) from Nakuru, Kenya.  Both Yegon and Ndururi weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Atif Ghazal, and the three ringside judges are David Beauttah, Andy Uttien and Marques Muriuki.
