Saif al Din Bahia vs Istiqlaal Chawki

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Morocco-Grand Casablanca promoted show at Casablanca Soussi, Casablanca,  taking place on 04/01/2026:

Clearly AI Morocco-Grand Casablanca have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Morocco-Grand Casablanca Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Saif al Din Bahia (8 - 6(1) - 2) who hails from Casablanca, Morocco and Istiqlaal Chawki(6 - 12 - 4) from Casablanca, Morocco.  Both Bahia and Chawki weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Amrane Erraki, and the three ringside judges are Ismail Berouas, Razzaak Elmourabet and Jaul Benayoun.

Bahia steps inside.  Bahia throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref ignores Chawki's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Chawki lands a right hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  Bahia clinches his opponent.  Chawki tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Bahia behind the head. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Chawki is on target with a right hook.  Bahia holds on to his opponent.  Bahia is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Bahia and breaks the clinch.  
Bahia steps inside.  Chawki throws a left uppercut, but Bahia clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Bahia pushes his forearm into Chawki's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Bahia.
