Emilio Oyola vs Santiago Reyes

Boxing Daily Report from the Rourke & Salvador promoted show at Santiago Bueno, Santiago,  taking place on 28/12/2025:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 4 round matchup are Emilio Oyola (2 - 0) who hails from Viba del Mar, Chile and Santiago Reyes(2 - 1) from Antofagasta, Chile.  Both Oyola and Reyes weighed in at 115 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Santiago Cubas, and the three ringside judges are Vicente Pintor, Diego Vidales and Angel Lebron.  

Round 1: 

Oyola is looking to close the distance.  Oyola sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.

Oyola pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  As Oyola tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Reyes dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Oyola advances into close range.  Oyola sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Reyes throws a left hook, but Oyola holds on to his opponent.  Oyola pushes his forearm into Reyes's face.  The referee warns Oyola and breaks the clinch.

Oyola sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a cross.  
Reyes throws a left hook, but Oyola holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Reyes pushes his forearm into Oyola's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Reyes to stop fouling.  
Oyola advances into close range.  Oyola pivots to the left of his opponent and connects with a left hook.  
Oyola lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Oyola pivots to the right of his opponent.  Oyola digs in a right hook to his opponents ribs.  Oyola clinches his opponent.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.
