Vicente Napoles vs Vicente Mieras

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Colombia-Santander promoted show at Floridablanca Amaya, Floridablanca,  taking place on 13/01/2026:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on CARACOL, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Vicente Napoles (4(3) - 0) who hails from Masaya, Nicaragua and Vicente Mieras(3 - 7 - 4) from Bogota, Colombia.  Both Napoles and Mieras weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Xalvador Montoro, and the three ringside judges are Jose Alcala, Neper Sanches and Manuel Vicente.  

Round 1: 

Napoles lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Napoles pivots to the right of his opponent.  Mieras hits home with a right hook.  Napoles holds on to his opponent.  Napoles pushes his forearm into Mieras's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.

Mieras connects with a left hook.  
Napoles closes the distance and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Napoles advances into close range and connects with a firm left hook.  
Napoles throws a left uppercut, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Napoles clinches his opponent.  Napoles leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Napoles drives a left hook into Mieras's liver.  
Napoles connects with a right hook.  
Mieras throws a right hook, but Napoles holds on to his opponent.  Napoles tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Mieras behind the head. Napoles leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Napoles is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Napoles lands a left hook, cross and a left hook to his opponents head.  
Mieras closes the distance.  Napoles lands a left uppercut to the body, a right hook to the head and a left uppercut to the head.  
Napoles connects with a stinging left hook.  Napoles tries to land a jab, but Mieras blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut to Napoles's ribcage.  
Napoles gets on the inside and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Napoles lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Napoles gets on the inside and connects with a left hook.  
Napoles lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Napoles lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.

Napoles is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the body.  
Napoles quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Mieras almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Napoles lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  He continues the combination and lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Napoles lands a left hook, right hook and a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Napoles lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Mieras cuts off the ring, trapping Napoles on the ropes.  Napoles lands a left hook.  
Napoles lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  He then lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head, AND MIERAS IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 6.  Mieras almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Napoles is on target with a left hook to Mieras's ribs.  
Mieras quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Mieras attempts to land a cross, but Napoles slips the shot and counters with a sharp right hook.

Mieras steps inside.  Napoles quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Mieras quickly recovers. 
Napoles lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  Napoles ties up his opponent.  Napoles is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Napoles lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head, AND SENDS MIERAS SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 8.  The ref asks Mieras to get his gloves up, but he doesnt respond.  The ref has waved the fight off...he doesnt think Mieras can continue!  The winner by TKO is Napoles!
