Boxing Daily Report from the African Fusion promoted show at Popcocks Indoor Sports Arena, Johannesburg,  taking place on 02/01/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Harry Gebremedhin (3 - 0) who hails from Mombasa, Kenya and Michael Twala(10 - 6 - 4) from Mamelodi, South Africa.  Both Gebremedhin and Twala weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mahdi Jamin, and the three ringside judges are Tshepo Nqakula, Aenas Van der Walt and Tshepo Nqakula.
