Vidal Lomas vs Jose Nova

Boxing Daily Report from the Pearlnew Promotions promoted show at El San Juan Resort and Casino, San Juan,  taking place on 04/01/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Vidal Lomas (7 - 0) who hails from Bayamon, Puerto Rico and Jose Nova(1 - 10 - 5) from Carolina, Puerto Rico.  Lomas weighed in at 130 pounds, while Nova weighed in at 129 pounds and 4 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Ricardo Montemayor, and the three ringside judges are Neper Hidalgo, Desiderio Cuellar and Alejandro Mayor.
