Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at Tokyo Metropolitan Gymnasium, Tokyo,  taking place on 10/01/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the East Asian Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TV Tokyo, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Kee-hee Ree (11 - 3(3) - 1) who hails from Daegu, South Korea and Kazuhiko Date(13(1) - 4(3)) from Takarazuka, Japan.  Both Ree and Date weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Takeo Kibe, and the three ringside judges are Eiji Mizuno, Keiichi Iida and Hisoka Yamamoto.
