Matthew McCormick vs Leon Labi

Boxing Daily Report from the Mr. Vicious promoted show at RDS Arena, Dublin,  taking place on 24/01/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the WRBC Youth Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on PPV Channel, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Matthew McCormick (14 - 1) who hails from Dublin, Ireland and Leon Labi(11 - 1 - 1) from Accra, Ghana.  Both McCormick and Labi weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Bradley MacGinnis, and the three ringside judges are Lewis Carroll, Paul Healy and Sam McCaig.
