Ian Xue vs Hassan Fahs

Boxing Daily Report from the Rooq Promotions promoted show at Malawati Stadium, Shah Alam,  taking place on 18/01/2026:

Clearly Rooq Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Malaysia-Selangor Minimumweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Ian Xue (15 - 0) who hails from Shah Alam, Malaysia and Hassan Fahs(4 - 9 - 7) from Petaling Jaya, Malaysia.  Both Xue and Fahs weighed in at 105 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Danyaal Amer, and the three ringside judges are Haider Kabir, Adnan Satter and Malik Salloum.
