Juul Vermaak vs Scott Banga

Boxing Daily Report from the African Fusion promoted show at Barnyard Theatre, Johannesburg,  taking place on 10/01/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Juul Vermaak (3 - 0) who hails from Randburg, South Africa and Scott Banga(4 - 5 - 1) from Khayelitsha, South Africa.  Both Vermaak and Banga weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Siphelele Nhlapo, and the three ringside judges are Cole Twala, Dillon Strydom and Tshepo Dikgacoi.
