Goga Kot vs Akira Nakamura

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at Yoyogi National Gymnasium, Tokyo,  taking place on 07/02/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TV Tokyo, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Goga Kot (13(2) - 6 - 1) who hails from Novorossiysk, Russia and Akira Nakamura(16 - 0) from Hachioji, Japan.  Kot weighed in at 134 pounds and 14 ounces, while Nakamura weighed in at 134 pounds and 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Dai Fujita, and the three ringside judges are Nori Tamanaha, Isamu Shibuya and Kenji Sera.
