Mason Dockter vs Joey Gunn

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-New Hampshire promoted show at West Side Ice Arena, Manchester,  taking place on 23/01/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  On the line tonight is the USA-Alabama Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mason Dockter (13(5) - 0) who hails from Birmingham, USA and Joey Gunn(2 - 14 - 3) from Hoover, USA.  Dockter weighed in at 134 pounds and 12 ounces, while Gunn weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Noah Anderberg, and the three ringside judges are Sid Stirton, Fraser Lesley and Patrick Carnegie.  

Round 1: 

Dockter switches the action to the outside and lands an overhand left followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Gunn closes the distance and manouvers his opponent into a corner.  Dockter lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  Dockter clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Dockter pushes his forearm into Gunn's face.  The ref breaks Dockter's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Dockter lands a left uppercut followed by  two left hooks to his opponents head.  Dockter ties up his opponent.  Dockter leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Dockter steps to the outside and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Dockter sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a cross, jab and a cross to his opponents head.  
Gunn is looking to close the distance and walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Dockter hits home with a left hook.  Dockter holds on to his opponent.  Dockter throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. Dockter is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Dockter about fouling.
