Boxing Daily Report from the AI Zimbabwe-Harare promoted show at Rainbow Towers Hotel, Harare,  taking place on 13/01/2026:

Clearly AI Zimbabwe-Harare have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the African Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Joy TV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are David Saomba (11 - 1) who hails from Harare, Zimbabwe and Deiondre Nankabirwa(13 - 4) from Gulu, Uganda.  Both Saomba and Nankabirwa weighed in at 140 pounds.
