Boxing Daily Report from the Bos Firefighters promoted show at Mbaraki Sports Club, Mombasa,  taking place on 10/01/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Eastern African Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on WWX Sport, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are John Kabumba (15 - 5(2)) who hails from Kampala, Uganda and Jasper Mathenge(16 - 3(1)) from Nairobi, Kenya.  Both Kabumba and Mathenge weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Paul Kithuka, and the three ringside judges are James Baldacchino, Robert Perlo and Connor Kamau.
