Boxing Daily Report from the Badalian Promotions promoted show at Maroua de Pizan, Maroua,  taking place on 13/01/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Western African Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on CRTV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Ranger Obekop (12 - 3 - 4) who hails from Maroua, Cameroon and Amer Nazir(12 - 3 - 3) from Accra, Ghana.  Obekop weighed in at 140 pounds, while Nazir weighed in at 139 pounds and 10 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Albain Nguekam, and the three ringside judges are Glanville Jacob, Grant Loga and Bassett Ionesco.
