Boxing Daily Report from the Elite Prizefighters promoted show at Bowlers Arena, Manchester,  taking place on 16/01/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Henry Quirke (8 - 0) who hails from Glasgow, UK and Ed McVay(8 - 11 - 3) from London, UK.  Both Quirke and McVay weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Paul McIver, and the three ringside judges are Robert Llewellyn, Mike Burchardt and Robert Bevans.
