Uba Rumfa vs Lugono Kotei

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Ghana-Greater Accra promoted show at Frankie's Hotel, Accra,  taking place on 14/01/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Western African Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on bTV Action, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Uba Rumfa (16 - 5 - 1) who hails from Accra, Ghana and Lugono Kotei(15 - 5 - 1) from Accra, Ghana.  Both Rumfa and Kotei weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Joe Kessels, and the three ringside judges are John Adu, Nabulung Akoto and Atif Hussain.
