Leonardo Angeles vs Rico Canchola

Boxing Daily Report from the Gabuza Promotions promoted show at Rosario Custodio, Rosario,  taking place on 14/01/2026:

Clearly Gabuza Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Argentina-Santa Fe Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TV Publica, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Leonardo Angeles (10 - 2 - 1) who hails from Santa Fe de la Vera Cruz, Argentina and Rico Canchola(17 - 3) from Santa Fe de la Vera Cruz, Argentina.  Angeles weighed in at 135 pounds, while Canchola weighed in at 134 pounds And 10 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Vidal Melgar, and the three ringside judges are Sierra Villas, Juan Vasco and Joaquin Arena.
