Garion Carp vs Kevin Markt

Boxing Daily Report from the Jacob Howes promoted show at Jacob Gym, Munich,  taking place on 28/12/2025:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Garion Carp (5 - 0) who hails from Essen, Germany and Kevin Markt(2 - 10 - 3) from Chemnitz, Germany.  Both Carp and Markt weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Rodman Markt, and the three ringside judges are Arnaud Agers, Berowalt Manweiler and Reamonn Dade.  

Round 1: 

Carp lands a sharp left hook.  
Carp is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Carp lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  Carp holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Carp pushes his forearm into Markt's face.  The referee warns Carp and breaks the clinch.

Markt gets on the inside.  Carp digs in a right hook to his opponents ribcage.  Carp holds on to his opponent.  Carp leans on his opponent using all his weight. Carp throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. 
Markt attempts to land a right hook, but Carp blocks the shot and counters with a stinging left hook.  
Carp advances into close range and hits home with a right hook.  
Carp closes the distance and lands two right uppercuts followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Carp digs in a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Carp hits home with a stinging left hook.  Carp holds on to his opponent.  Carp leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Markt throws a left hook, but Carp ties up his opponent.  Markt throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Markt about fouling.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Markt's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.  Markt's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.
