Boxing Daily Report from the AI India-Delhi promoted show at Taj Palace, New Delhi,  taking place on 13/01/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the South Asian Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TEN Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Sukhinder Tandon (17(3) - 3(1)) who hails from Lucknow, India and Baldev Merkondar(11 - 4(1)) from New Delhi, India.  Tandon weighed in at 199 pounds and 8 ounces, while Merkondar weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Arjuna Chaudhry, and the three ringside judges are Syed Ghazal, Gautam Trivedi and Jyotish Manda.
