Rex Perro vs David Ronnie

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Australia-Western Australia promoted show at Perth Pryor, Perth,  taking place on 15/01/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Australia Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on WIN, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Rex Perro (7 - 4(1) - 1) who hails from Melbourne, Australia and David Ronnie(9 - 1) from Perth, Australia.  Perro weighed in at 122 pounds, while Ronnie weighed in at 121 pounds and 10 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Ian Fram, and the three ringside judges are Chris Vaughn, Fraser Trimble and John Coronella.  

Round 1: 

Ronnie gets on the inside and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Ronnie dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Ronnie advances into close range and manouvers Perro into a corner.  Ronnie is on target with a right hook.  
Ronnie pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Ronnie attempts to land a right hook, but Perro blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.
