Lemme Meersman vs Marvin Marodt

Boxing Daily Report from the Pianim Promotions promoted show at Ghent Frays, Ghent,  taking place on 15/01/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Belgium-Flanders Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Lemme Meersman (9 - 9(1) - 1) who hails from Ghent, Belgium and Marvin Marodt(14(2) - 6) from Ghent, Belgium.  Both Meersman and Marodt weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Dion Reynhout, and the three ringside judges are Meus Fournyer, Justus Van de Zande and Theys Danckant.  

Round 1: 

Marodt advances into close range and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  He then lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Marodt steps to the outside.  Marodt feints a jab, and then hits home with a cross.  
Meersman is looking to close the distance.  Marodt lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.
