Boxing Daily Report from the AI UK-Central England promoted show at Wolverhampton Rooney, Wolverhampton,  taking place on 15/01/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the British-Central England Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Eurosport UK, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Matt McKenzie (14 - 4(1) - 4) who hails from Wolverhampton, UK and Greg Carey(11 - 7) from Liverpool, UK.  McKenzie weighed in at 146 pounds and 4 ounces, while Carey weighed in at 147 pounds.
