Satch Bel vs Denis Halimi

Boxing Daily Report from the Basemera Promotions promoted show at Montreal Setton, Montreal,  taking place on 16/01/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Canada-Quebec Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fight Network, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Satch Bel (9 - 7) who hails from Montreal, Canada and Denis Halimi(6 - 12(2) - 2) from Montreal, Canada.  Both Bel and Halimi weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Nicholas Prior, and the three ringside judges are Henry Popkin, Destin Dauphin and Bruce Hathorne.
