Rich Briar vs Vicente Moras

Boxing Daily Report from the Cpboxing promoted show at Guyana Marriott Hotel, Georgetown,  taking place on 26/12/2025:

Clearly Cpboxing have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Rich Briar (1 - 0) who hails from Georgetown, Guyana and Vicente Moras(2 - 3 - 2) from Maracaibo, Venezuela.  Both Briar and Moras weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Jack Palin, and the three ringside judges are Bradley Shiels, Arran Creighton and Kieran Wales.  

Round 1: 

Briar steps inside and hits home with a left uppercut.  
Moras steps to the outside.  Briar is on target with a jab.  
Briar closes the distance and drives a right hook into his opponents body.  
Briar walks Moras onto the ropes.  Briar lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Briar lands with a solid jab.  
Briar gets on the inside and lands a left hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Briar closes the distance.  Briar pivots to the left of his opponent and connects with a solid left hook.  
Moras throws a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Moras attempts to land a jab, but Briar sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Briar gets on the inside.  Briar pivots to the right of his opponent and drives a left hook into his opponents body.  
Briar drives a jab into Moras's body.  
Briar closes the distance.  Moras throws a right uppercut, but Briar ties up his opponent.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Briar walks Moras down, trapping him on the ropes.  Briar lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Briar pivots to the right of his opponent.  Moras tries to land a cross, but Briar blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Briar closes the distance.  Briar pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a left hook to the head, a left uppercut to the head and a right hook to the body.  
Moras steps to the outside.  Briar snaps his opponents head back with a stiff jab.  
Briar advances into close range and throws a right hook, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Briar ties up his opponent.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Briar pivots from in front of his opponent.  Moras throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Moras's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Moras's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Moras's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Briar steps inside.  Moras throws a left hook, but Briar holds on to his opponent.  Briar tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Moras behind the head. The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Briar about fouling.

Moras steps to the outside and tries to land a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.
