Michael Dagg vs Louis Rhoderick

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre, Gold Coast,  taking place on 24/01/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Michael Dagg (5 - 0) who hails from Christchurch, New Zealand and Louis Rhoderick(12 - 8) from Townsville, Australia.  Both Dagg and Rhoderick weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Charlie Cacciari, and the three ringside judges are Dave Antoni, Chris Weir and Francesco Ghiglia.  

Round 1: 

Dagg is on target with an overhand right.  
Rhoderick steps inside.  Dagg lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.

Rhoderick steps inside and cuts off the ring, trapping Dagg in the corner.  Dagg lands a left hook.
