Cody Lever vs Rex Agostino

Boxing Daily Report from the Rattlesnake Promotions promoted show at Palmer Events Center, Houston,  taking place on 30/01/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Cody Lever (11(2) - 0) who hails from Boston, USA and Rex Agostino(3 - 2 - 1) from London, UK.  Both Lever and Agostino weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Noah Fergusson, and the three ringside judges are Rob Smith, Ian Hesson and Asif Farra.  

Round 1: 

Agostino gets on the inside.  Lever lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  
Lever lands a cross to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Lever steps inside.  Agostino sidesteps to the right of his opponent andAs the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Agostino dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Lever is on target with a left hook to his opponents liver.  
Lever pivots to the right of his opponent and is on target with a cross.  
Lever lands with a stiff jab.  
Lever lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Lever lands a left hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  He follows up the attack and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Lever is on target with a right hook to Agostino's body.  
Lever tries to land a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Agostino throws a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Lever lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Lever drives a right hook into his opponents body.  Lever ties up his opponent.  Lever pushes his forearm into Agostino's face.  The referee warns Lever and breaks the clinch.

Lever clinches his opponent.  Lever hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. The referee warns Lever and breaks the clinch.  
Lever lands a right hook.  
Lever steps inside.  Agostino throws a right hook, but Lever ties up his opponent.  Lever uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Agostino's kidney. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Lever connects with a right uppercut.  
Lever pivots to the right of his opponent and drives a right hook into his opponents body.  
Agostino tries to land a right hook, but Lever slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Lever is looking to close the distance and connects with a left hook.  
Lever connects with a left hook.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Agostino's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Round 3: 

Lever drives a left hook into his opponents body.  
Agostino tries to land a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a sharp left hook.  
Lever is looking to close the distance and manages to force Agostino into the corner.  Lever lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Agostino steps inside.  Lever lands a left hook, right uppercut and a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Lever lands a jab, cross and a jab to his opponents head.  
Lever gets on the inside and whips in a mean left hook to Agostino's body.  AGOSTINO WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Lever tries to land a left hook, but Agostino blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
The right shot from Lever could be enough to force the stoppage!  Lever lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  He then lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body, AND SENDS AGOSTINO TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 5.  Agostino now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.

Lever gets on the inside and lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  Lever clinches his opponent.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Lever steps inside and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  Lever holds on to his opponent.  The ref breaks Lever's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Lever steps inside and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Agostino lands a jab.  
Lever lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Lever lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  Lever clinches his opponent.  The ref separates the two fighters.
