Santiago Peguero vs Montel Licea

Boxing Daily Report from the Rattlesnake Promotions promoted show at Palmer Events Center, Houston,  taking place on 30/01/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Santiago Peguero (9(5) - 0) who hails from Santo Domingo de Guzman, Dominican Republic and Montel Licea(12 - 5 - 7) from Naucalpan, Mexico.  Both Peguero and Licea weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Rob Smith, and the three ringside judges are Ian Hesson, Noah Fergusson and Asif Farra.
