Audric Fanka vs Montrose Auriol

Boxing Daily Report from the Gbedema Promotions promoted show at Demont Beaufort Gym, Garoua,  taking place on 17/01/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Cameroon-Nord Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Audric Fanka (15 - 1) who hails from Garoua, Cameroon and Montrose Auriol(5 - 6 - 3) from Garoua, Cameroon.  Both Fanka and Auriol weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Justin Mbamba, and the three ringside judges are Sinjon Ndjodo, Bruce Kamgaing and Ferrand Kweuke.  

Round 1: 

Fanka lands a jab.  
Fanka closes the distance and lands a right hook, left hook and a right hook to his opponents head.  
Fanka lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Fanka closes the distance and lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.

Fanka steps inside and connects with a right uppercut.  Fanka ties up his opponent.  Fanka pushes his forearm into Auriol's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Fanka quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Auriol attempts to land a cross, but Fanka sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Fanka closes the distance.  Auriol pivots to the left of his opponent.  Fanka lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Fanka steps inside.  Fanka sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Auriol tries to land a left hook, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a cross.  
Fanka walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Fanka pivots to the side of his opponent and is on target with a right uppercut.

Auriol steps to the outside.  Fanka lands a cross.  
Fanka hits home with a right uppercut.  Fanka holds on to his opponent.  Fanka leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Fanka steps inside and lands a left hook to the head, a left uppercut to the head and a left hook to the body.  
Fanka is looking to close the distance.  Auriol pivots to the left of his opponent and digs in a right hook to his opponents body.  
Auriol is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Fanka lands a jab, overhand right and a jab to his opponents head.  
Fanka sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Auriol attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref stops the action and gives Fanka time to recover.

Fanka steps inside and lands a right hook, left hook and a right hook to his opponents head.  
Fanka connects with a right hook.  
Auriol tries to step out of his opponents range and finds the target with a jab.  
Fanka closes the distance and lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.
