Boxing Daily Report from the AI El Salvador-San Salvador promoted show at San Salvador Lorenz, San Salvador,  taking place on 18/01/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the El Salvador Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Canal 17, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Tajo Capella (8(1) - 1 - 1) who hails from Soyapango, El Salvador and Jose Reta(13 - 4 - 1) from Apopa, El Salvador.  Capella weighed in at 134 pounds and 11 ounces, while Reta weighed in at 135 pounds.
