Bing Tao vs Quon Ngai

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at Beijing University Gymnasium, Beijing,  taking place on 31/01/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the China Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Bing Tao (13(1) - 3(1) - 1) who hails from Hangzhou, China and Quon Ngai(10 - 9(1) - 2) from Dingzhou, China.  Tao weighed in at 159 pounds And 15 ounces, while Ngai weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Xin Wan, and the three ringside judges are Ye Yuen, Dewei Manh and Qing-Nan Bu.  

Round 1: 

Tao gets on the inside and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.
