Julien Fouche vs Valeray Dewaere

Boxing Daily Report from the Razak Promotions promoted show at Abidjan Romand, Abidjan,  taking place on 22/12/2025:

Clearly Razak Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Ivory Coast-Lagunes Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Julien Fouche (8 - 4 - 4) who hails from Abobo, Ivory Coast and Valeray Dewaere(4 - 4 - 3) from Abidjan, Ivory Coast.  Both Fouche and Dewaere weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Rance Verne, and the three ringside judges are Verrill Oberlin, Delano Wimille and Gregory de Pizan.  

Round 1: 

Fouche pivots to the right of his opponent and is on target with a jab.  
Dewaere backs onto the ropes...he is waving his opponent in!  Fouche tries to tag Dewaere on the ropes, but his opponent blocks every shot!  
Dewaere gets on the inside and tries to land a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.

The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Fouche dabs at his face checking for damage.  Fouche has taken some damage from that accidental headbutt.  That has caused bad swelling  around the right eye.  
Dewaere drives a right uppercut into Fouche's ribs.
