Douglas Powell vs Paul Monro

Boxing Daily Report from the Big Bang Promotions promoted show at Big Gym, London,  taking place on 18/01/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Douglas Powell (8(2) - 0) who hails from Dundee, UK and Paul Monro(1 - 2 - 1) from London, UK.  Both Powell and Monro weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Richie Harp, and the three ringside judges are Connor Hamel, Zach Underwood and Ron MacArthur.
