Kyo Jo vs Jiro Ishii

Boxing Daily Report from the Pearlnew Promotions promoted show at Ochiai Park Gymnasium, Kasugai,  taking place on 05/01/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 4 round matchup are Kyo Jo (1 - 0) who hails from Hachioji, Japan and Jiro Ishii(0 - 7 - 1) from Kobe, Japan.  Both Jo and Ishii weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mikio Yasuda, and the three ringside judges are Hideki Kawasaki, Raiden Okazaki and Aoi Imada.  

Round 1:

That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Jo.  That has caused minor swelling  around the right eye.
