Jasper Kwei vs Alastair Asabigi

Boxing Daily Report from the Coetzee Promotions promoted show at Kumasi Omane, Kumasi,  taking place on 20/01/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Ghana-Ashanti Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jasper Kwei (14(2) - 3 - 1) who hails from Kumasi, Ghana and Alastair Asabigi(9 - 4 - 5) from Kumasi, Ghana.  Both Kwei and Asabigi weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is James Ampomah, and the three ringside judges are Ibrahim Siddiqi, Bob Antwi and Connor Salifu.
