Kendis Acheampong vs Sid Dauda

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Ghana-Northern Ghana promoted show at Tamale Mir, Tamale,  taking place on 20/01/2026:

Clearly AI Ghana-Northern Ghana have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Ghana-Northern Ghana Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on bTV Action, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Kendis Acheampong (12 - 6 - 2) who hails from Tamale, Ghana and Sid Dauda(11 - 4) from Tamale, Ghana.  Both Acheampong and Dauda weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Rich Burja, and the three ringside judges are Gazi Satter, John Anyidoho and Antwan Asamoah.
