Boxing Daily Report from the AI Ghana-Northern Ghana promoted show at Tamale Shahi, Tamale,  taking place on 20/01/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Ghana-Northern Ghana Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on bTV Action, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Rob Ballantyne (16(3) - 2(2)) who hails from Tamale, Ghana and Joey Dotse(14 - 1) from Tamale, Ghana.  Ballantyne weighed in at 146 pounds and 5 ounces, while Dotse weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Makalo Donkor, and the three ringside judges are Gazi Satter, Obiajulu Alhassan and Sam Adabor.
