Alfonso Morro vs Joaquin Hernandez

Boxing Daily Report from the Cestrian promotions promoted show at Palau de Congressos de Catalunya, Barcelona,  taking place on 02/03/2026:

Clearly Cestrian promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Alfonso Morro (8(2) - 1(1) - 1) who hails from Barcelona, Spain and Joaquin Hernandez(7 - 4 - 5) from Madrid, Spain.  Morro weighed in at 175 pounds, while Hernandez weighed in at 174 pounds and 9 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Seferino Cosme, and the three ringside judges are Berto Guillermo, Xaverius Reyes and Xabat Fraire.  

Round 1: 

Hernandez quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Morro is on target with a left hook.  
Morro is looking to close the distance and hits home with a right hook.  
Morro steps inside and lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Morro is looking to close the distance and hits home with a solid right hook.  Morro clinches his opponent.  Morro pushes his forearm into Hernandez's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Morro to stop fouling.  
Morro is on target with a firm left hook to his opponents body.  Morro holds on to his opponent.  Morro leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Hernandez is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Morro lands a jab, overhand right and a cross to his opponents head.  
Morro gets on the inside and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  Morro clinches his opponent.  Morro uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Hernandez behind the head. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Morro to stop fouling.

Morro is looking to close the distance and drives a solid left hook into his opponents ribs.  Morro clinches his opponent.  Morro leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Morro walks Hernandez down, trapping him in a corner.  Morro lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a right uppercut to the body.

Morro sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a sharp right uppercut.  
Hernandez tries to keep the action at long range.  Morro feints a jab, and then lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.

Morro stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Morro lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body, AND DROPS HERNANDEZ TO THE CANVAS!  He remains on the canvas as the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Morro!
