Bryn Sethi vs Dale Marangu

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Kenya-Mombasa promoted show at Dikembe Maji Gym, Mombasa,  taking place on 24/12/2025:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Kenya-Mombasa Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Bryn Sethi (1 - 5) who hails from Mombasa, Kenya and Dale Marangu(3 - 0 - 1) from Mombasa, Kenya.  Both Sethi and Marangu weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Jay Matiku, and the three ringside judges are Paul Kithuka, Connor Kamau and Hayden Sakudao.  

Round 1: 

Marangu steps inside.  Sethi wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Marangu dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Sethi steps inside and connects with a right hook.  
Sethi advances into close range.  Marangu is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  
Marangu sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Sethi connects with a cross.

Marangu attempts to land a right uppercut, but Sethi blocks the shot and counters with a cross.
