Callum Prentiss vs Paul Tully

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Canada-Quebec promoted show at Montreal Mossman, Montreal,  taking place on 20/01/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Canada Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fight Network, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Callum Prentiss (13 - 9(2) - 2) who hails from Toronto, Canada and Paul Tully(14(9) - 5(2)) from Lonueuil, Canada.  Both Prentiss and Tully weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Elliot Girardot, and the three ringside judges are Sid Leys, Destin Dauphin and Granger Hinault.  

Round 1: 

Tully lands with a stinging jab.  
Tully forces Prentiss to back into the ropes.  Tully throws a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot.  Tully holds on to his opponent.  Tully pushes his forearm into Prentiss's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Tully to stop fouling.  
Tully gets on the inside and throws a left uppercut, but his opponent steps away from the punch.  Tully ties up his opponent.  Tully is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Tully is on target with a left uppercut.  
Tully pivots to the side of his opponent and drives a left hook into his opponents body.  
Tully connects with a solid left uppercut.  
Tully lands a left uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  Tully ties up his opponent.  Tully leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Tully steps inside and lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.

Tully digs in a firm left uppercut to Prentiss's body.  
Tully sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Tully lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head, AND SENDS PRENTISS SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 5.  Tully clinches his opponent.  Tully leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  Prentiss almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Tully manouvers Prentiss into the corner.  Tully drives a stinging right uppercut into Prentiss's ribcage.  
Tully closes the distance and lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Prentiss is looking to keep his distance and strikes his opponents body with a jab.  Prentiss tries to land an overhand right, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a stinging left uppercut.  
Tully lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Tully closes the distance.  Tully sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Prentiss tries to land a left uppercut, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a cross.  
Tully feints a cross, and then tries to land a jab, but Prentiss blocks the shot and counters with a cross.
