Boxing Daily Report from the AI Iran-Tehran promoted show at Tehran Basher, Tehran,  taking place on 22/01/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Iran Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on IRIB, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Ali Azad (9 - 0) who hails from Tehran, Iran and Ibrahim Gurmani(11 - 5) from Tehran, Iran.  Both Azad and Gurmani weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Imran Habib, and the three ringside judges are Haaris Bokhari, Aseem Bawa and Ali Khalifa.
