Amer Mahdi vs Umair Molla

Boxing Daily Report from the Andoh Promotions promoted show at Iran-East Azerbaijan Gym, Tabriz,  taking place on 22/01/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Iran Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on IRIB, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Amer Mahdi (12 - 1 - 1) who hails from Karaj, Iran and Umair Molla(9 - 3) from Tabriz, Iran.  Both Mahdi and Molla weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Waleed Sadyhov, and the three ringside judges are Tariq Rahmani, Haaris Hana and Hassan Djabiyev.  

Round 1: 

Mahdi is on target with a left uppercut.  Mahdi attempts to land a right uppercut, but Molla blocks the shot and counters with a right hook to Mahdi's body.
