Chandrakant Balan vs Ibrahim Doud

Boxing Daily Report from the AI India-Maharashtra promoted show at Aftab Azizi Gym, Mumbai,  taking place on 22/01/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the India-Maharashtra Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Chandrakant Balan (6 - 9 - 2) who hails from Mumbai, India and Ibrahim Doud(4 - 4 - 8) from Mumbai, India.  Balan weighed in at 130 pounds, while Doud weighed in at 129 pounds and 8 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Zuffur Diab, and the three ringside judges are Rehman Sharifi, Ananta Goswami and Aseem Parray.
