Boxing Daily Report from the AI Ireland-Munster promoted show at Waterford McCormick, Waterford,  taking place on 22/01/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Irish-Munster Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Brin Connor (5 - 11(1) - 2) who hails from Limerick, Ireland and Ross McNeil(10(1) - 5 - 2) from Cork, Ireland.  Connor weighed in at 139 pounds and 9 ounces, while McNeil weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Kieran Mulloy, and the three ringside judges are Felix Curran, Kieran Mulloy and Seamus Kavanagh.

McNeil advances into close range and drives a left hook into his opponents ribs.
