Nero Rusco vs Fausto Folena

Boxing Daily Report from the Akuffo Promotions promoted show at Modena Di Benedetto, Modena,  taking place on 22/01/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Italy-Emilia-Romagna Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Nero Rusco (12 - 6(2) - 1) who hails from Parma, Italy and Fausto Folena(2 - 13 - 2) from Bologna, Italy.  Rusco weighed in at 135 pounds, while Folena weighed in at 134 pounds and 5 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Luca Perin, and the three ringside judges are Tito Valdifiori, Gianfranco Pirlo and Gianmarco De Bacco.
